Veterans Day Celebration – November 9, 12–3pm at Whitman VFW
The towns of Whitman, Abington, Rockland, and Hanson invite residents to a joint Veterans Day Celebration on Sunday, November 9th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whitman VFW, 95 Essex Street.
Highlights of the event include:
Veteran Meet & Greet: An opportunity for families and community members to connect with local veterans.
Veterans Services Support: Veterans Agents from each town will be available to answer questions regarding benefits and resources.
Complimentary Lunch: Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served to veterans and their families.
Family Activities: Children can enjoy bouncy houses, games, music, and more.
All are welcome to attend this community event in honor of our veterans.
