The Town of Rockland announced today that it received a large supply of iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Tests for the community. The Town received 12,600 tests, in 6,300 individual packages, from Plymouth County. In addition, the Town’s Board of Health secured 1,260 tests, in 630 individual boxes, funded from a State grant. “The Town is extremely grateful that the Plymouth County Commissioners and Treasurer had the foresight to use the region’s remaining CARES Act funds to purchase these test kits for their communities,” said Rockland Town Administrator Douglas Lapp.

The Town will be making the total 13,860 tests kits, which are in 6,930 individual packages, available to all residents in town. The Rockland Fire Department and Community Emergency Response Team will be distributing the test kits at a drive-through distribution center on Saturday February 12, 2022 from 9:00am – 4:00pm at the Rockland High/Middle School located at 52 MacKinlay Way, Rockland. Please enter in from Division Street to Taunton Avenue. Distribution will be limited to one package, each containing two individual tests, per household on a first-come first-serve basis. Residents must show valid proof of current residency in Rockland to be eligible, such as a driver’s license, other government issued ID, lease, or utility bill.
