Rockland 150th Celebration

150th content (1)

The Town of Rockland celebrated its Sesquicentennial anniversary in 2024. The town-wide celebration, presented by A.W. Perry, commemorated the incorporation of Rockland on March 9, 1874, and served as a tribute to the Town's rich history, vibrant present, and promising future. We were proud to honor the individuals and groups who played a significant role in shaping Rockland's history. The 150th Celebration aimed to ignite excitement about the Town's diverse offerings and encourage community engagement. Follow Rockland 150th Celebration on Facebook and Instagram for highlights of events and activities that took place throughout the year.

PIECES OF ROCKLAND PROJECT

As part of Rockland’s 150th Anniversary Celebration, the Town invited Rockland artists and designers to participate in “Pieces of Rockland,” a collaborative mural project about our Town. Each artist was tasked with the job of creating original artwork about the Town of Rockland on an individual puzzle piece. See what project lead, Rob Rosa, displayed at the Rockland Fall Festival in October.
