At its meeting of June 12, 2012 the Board of Health voted to change the operational hours at the Recycling Center. The new schedule will be as follows:
Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Monday 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday Closed
Wednesday Closed
Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The new schedule goes in to effect as of July 1, 1012. It is intended to be a pilot program to run through the summer. If the Board determines that there is ample use of the facility on Sundays, the schedule may be extended throughout the year.
The Board realizes that this is a dramatic change in operations however many residents have expressed an interest in having the facility opened on Sunday.
