BOARD OF ASSESSORS

The Town of Rockland Board of Assessors announces that they have received Preliminary Certification for the Fiscal 2012 property values. These proposed values are pending final certification by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. This public disclosure is part of the Revaluation and Re-Certification of values that is required by statute every three years.

Values were calculated at “Full and Fair Cash Value” using sales data between 7/1/2009 and 6/30/2011, as required by state law. The valuation date for Fiscal Year 2012 is January 1, 2011.

The public disclosure period will commence Friday October 14, 2011 and continue through Friday October 21, 2011. Valuations can be reviewed in the Assessors’ Office at the Town Hall daily from 8:30AM – 4:30PM. Or you can download them below.
