The following positions are up for appointment/reappointment by the Board of Selectmen. Persons interested in applying must submit an application to the Selectman’s Office no later than Friday, April 20, 2012. Appointment forms are available at the Selectmen’s Office or online @ rockland-ma.gov
IMPORTANT: Any incumbent whose term expires MUST resubmit an application. Reappointment is not automatic and all applications will be considered equally.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: Only contested appointments for offices or new applicants are invited for an interview.

The Council on Aging is responsible for ensuring that programs for senior citizens are carried forth within budgetary authority and limits.

Education Fund Committee (3 year term) – Consisting of the Superintendent of Schools or designee & no fewer than four residents of the Town appointed by the BOS. The inspectors of Wires are responsible for ensuring that the electrical code is adhered to in any repair, alteration or new construction to any building or structure within the Town of Rockland.
